ABOUT ME

My name is Lorant Toth. I was born on the 22nd January in 1994, in Hungary. I am a high school student now, and I learn to become an industrial designer in the future.
Drawing was always close to me. Certainly not because I was prominently good at it, but I always thought that it is a very cool hobby and I liked to do it. I always liked to create something out of nothing. Many people have told me that it is obvious, if someone practises something a lot, he will become better and better in it, whatever it is. So I thought if I follow this theory, I might become a real artist one day.

When I was young, I tried to draw creatures and monsters I saw in TV shows and in PC games. As I was not pleased with my works, I realized that it is not going to work that way, so I checked other's artworks and tried to copy them. Later then, I started to read and learn more about drawing, read a lot of books, tutorials, and became a forum geek. I was posting my works on social sites to get critized. At this time I had a few graphic experience aswell, so I tried to use my graphic design skill to make my drawings more interesting and more professional. The dozen of Photoshop tutorials I read have substantiated my way to start drawing digitally.

My motivation to learn drawing was to become succesful and popular. I think that I couldn't have chosen a purpose what is harder to achieve than this. It was a huge boost in my hobby as I was drawing with the awareness of becoming professional in the future. I was working hard to attain my ambition, even so I could not. I have been drawing intensely for aproximately 3 years by now. My first speed painting video, which has just passed 20 000 views on youtube recently, was uploaded also 3 years ago. Now, I have 21 speed painting videos uploaded to Youtube so far with nearly 100 000 views in total.
